Criminal cases arising in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Largo, and the rest of Pinellas County are heard by the Sixth Judicial Circuit, which also covers Pasco County. The Pinellas County Justice Center at 14250 49th Street North in Clearwater houses the criminal courts and the Clerk of Court. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office runs the county jail, and the Clerk of the Circuit Court keeps the court records.
